Why study at Aberystwyth?

As I mention in the introduction, I have Aspergers. My learning has been a bit hindered by it so one of my first priorities when choosing a university was to pick one that would provide me the assistance I may need to succeed and, in my research, I had heard nothing but good things about Aberystwyth University’s support system.
Another worry was how I would adapt to the new environment in university. Both me and my family didn’t want me to be an excessive distance away from our hometown to avoid any feelings of being stranded if things weren’t going too well on my course. Aberystwyth university is only a 2–3-hour drive from my hometown (it’s a nice drive as well) which was near perfect for distance. This may be a petty thing to consider, I know, but my own mental well-being is key to the success of my studies so that was always a priority when making considerations about where I study. Thankfully Aberystwyth, an excellent university, was within my travel range.
All the above considerations were without mentioning that there were several courses that I was interested in pursuing at Aberystwyth that other universities simply didn’t have. My visits to several university open days also helped to cement my choice, it seemed that Aberystwyth provided everything I needed and while other options weren’t bad per se they all fell behind in one way or another compared to Aberystwyth university.
Aberystwyth university by far seemed like the most natural place for me to continue my studies.
