From a very young age I became interested in computer games and that is an interest that has carried through to this day and will likely persist into the future as well.
Recently, I’ve found the roguelike, platformer and, strangely, card-based genres to be particularly entertaining.
Including titles like Rayman Legends, Binding of Isaac, Across the Obelisk and Ori and the Will of the Wisps.
This hobby of mine eventually developed into an interest in the ins and outs of computers themselves as well as how coding can bring the games I enjoyed into existence, leading to me pursuing a career around computers.
A choice I am glad I made, few things can match the rush of figuring out the steps to a computer program and seeing hours of work come together seamlessly (especially considering the scarcity of that happening without hiccup).
Other than my technological interests, I joined a local boxing gym in my later years of secondary school, coming to enjoy the sport and the exhaustion that accompanies a strenuous workout.
Attending three sessions a week for roughly 2 years.
Admittedly I fell out of training during Covid,
but I have resumed training at the university Gym and though it may take some time to learn how to use the unfamiliar equipment I hope to return to a better physical health by the end of my course here.
