Vapochill case projectlog : Page2

After putting the vapochill unit in the case, I then had to start putting the hardware in the case. The hardware currently stands at:

• abit nf7-s (version 2.0) motherboard
• amd Athlon "Barton" xp2500+
• 1gb geil pc3200 ddr memory
• Nvidia 6800gt (overclocked out of the box) - The gfx card was an ati r9700Pro previous to this.
• Creative audigy 2 soundcard
• Hauppauge digital TV card
• 280gb storage (160gb serial ata and 120gb parallel ata)
• 48xliteon cd writer + NEC ND2510A Dual Layer 8x DVD±RW ReWriter (Black)

I don't have any pictures of the pc while I was building it, so here are a few of the end product instead.

After finishing the install of all the hardware, I realised that I was unable to burn  cd's withouta great deal of them failing. It was then that I noticed the amount of heat that was being created by the compressor of the vapochill......right below the cd-writer!!

This made it necessary for another modification to the case.
