The first record I can find for the Brindley Family is the marriage of Benjamin Brindley (1) to Charlotte Spencer, daughter of George and Ann Spencer of Mickleover. They were married at St Werburgh’s Church on 1st May 1804.

There are records for the christenings of their children at the same church.

    • William Brindley (2) - 15 July 1804
    • John Brindley (2) - 5 July 1807
    • Mary Brindley (2) - 15 April 1810

Neither John nor Mary married and lived together as companions all their lives but William married and had nine children with his Yorkshire born wife Mary Thickett.
