Information on Harriet Wright's parents
Harriet/Harriott Wright
IGI records a birth for Harriet Wright on the 31 Mar 1802 at Haworth, Yorkshire, England and gives the parents as James Wright & Rebecca.
Haworth Church Parish Records[1] show record of Baptism for Harriott/Harriet Wright of Haworth - baptized January 11th 1816 in Haworth but born March 31st 1802, the daughter of James Wright and Rebecca Greenwood.
Siblings of Harriet who were christened that week and the week after are:
Daniel Dyson born in 1797 or 1802 or 1804 and on the census records gives his birthplace as Sowerby Bridge.
(A possible match is an IGI record for a birth of Daniel Dyson from Scammonden (within 10 miles from Sowerby Bridge) with a Mother named Ann. One of Daniel’s children was called Ann, and notice how Harriet’s parents’ names have been passed on to their children so we could possibly be looking for a George, Alexander as a father for Daniel.)

St Michael’s and All Angels Church |
IGI
records a marriage between Daniel Dyson and Harriet Wright on 19 Oct
1823 in Haworth, Yorkshire, England.
The Haworth Church Parish Records show the marriage of Harriet to Daniel, Oct 19 1823 in St Michael’s and All Angels Church, and interestingly Patrick Bronte (Charlotte, Ann and Emily Bronte’s Father) married them. They both marked X and so were probably illiterate. Witnessed by: William Brown, Joseph Fawthrop.
According to Alexander’s birth certificate Daniel was married to Harriet Wright and was a wool comber (a person employed in the woollen mills to operate the machines that separate the fibres ready for spinning) when Alexander was born on January 15th 1840 in Howarth.
