Decided to change the theme for my WordPress and also installed a few plugin that I think will come in handy in the future for my WordPress.

Theme

Grisaille 1.2 by Nudge Design

I went through a couple of themes before I finally decided to pick this one. It has that warm grey feeling, mixed with a few variations of light yellow and deep blue. Not saying that these colours describes my personality, but I just thought that their mixture was  a pleasant surprise. Another feature that I found useful with this theme is the fact that it is able to link my Facebook and Twitter profiles on the top right corner of the page. How nifty is that?

Plugins

I have found a couple of plugins as well that I definitely find useful for the future of this WordPress. While there are only two plugins installed and activated right now, I will definitely look forward to using more useful plugins when I do run into them.

Easy Social

A simple yet useful plugin that enables readers and audiences to link and share my WordPress post on social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, StumbleUpon and Pinterest. This plugin is a definitely an important plugin for anyone who wants to establish an online presence and also be heard by the online community.

Smart YouTube PRO

This plugin can be used to embed my own videos or videos that I find interesting on my WordPress. I can basically just upload videos to YouTube and share them on my WordPress for my audience to watch. It’s not a staple plugin but will come in handy once in awhile.

Haven’t found anything interesting yet on YouTube that’s worth sharing on my WordPress but do watch this space in the future.

Configuration for the themes and plugins were surprisingly simple. I always thought that I was going to run into problems with configuring them but I have encountered none so far. Maybe, just maybe, I worry too much.
