Information for Newcomers

If you are soon coming to university in Aberystwyth, please come and join the bellringing society. We have a stall at Freshers' Fayre every year, but if you've missed it, come along to practice night on Thursdays.

Currently, we have a practice for absolute beginners running from 7:30 until 9:00 on Monday evenings, a practice night for more experienced ringers (i.e. able to ring rounds) on Thursday from 7:30 to 9:00, which leads to ringing before the Sunday service from 9:15 to 10:00 Sunday morning.

We nearly always end up in the Black Lion pub after practices on Monday and Thursday, and at th Upper Limit cafe in town after Sunday ringing.
