![]() | ![]() Bosque dos Jequitibás, a park with a zoo full of animals native to Brazil and a small natural history museum. It is located on both sides of a ravine to the east of the centre. It's definitely worthwhile spending an afternoon there. The park is named after the mighty tree species, Jequitibá or Cariniana legalis growing there. Campinas is at a latitude (23S) which corresponds to the central Sahara (southern Algeria) in the northern hemisphere. |
