Frozen bog - very beautiful but hard work!

The north-facing slopes are all frosted over. Rocks on the NW slope of Llethr Llwyd.

Blaendoethie - farm at the end of a 6-mile single track road above Llanddewi Brefi.

Carn Pen Rhiw Llwydog.

A rack of mechanical fire extinguishers1 in the narrow strip of forest NE of Bryn Mawr.

A RoW in a forest that does actually exist on the ground!

Nant y Benglog carved deeply into the hillside on the opposite side of Doethie valley.

The Afon Doethie from a new footbridge near Maes y Betws.

The top end of the Doethie valley, near Ty'n y Cornel YHA.

1) Thanks to Paul Saunders for pointing out what these funny upside-down signposts are actually used for.
