The monument that doesn't say what it commemorates.

National Park sign in the middle of nowhere.


Looking ahead to Sugar Loaf and Skirrid. Blorenge comes before that but is totally flat on this side.

Don't know if this is Carn y Defaid (sheep rock) but it might well be.


The only conifer in the village, on the heathery south slope of Blorenge.

The Usk valley opening up below the southern summit of Blorenge; Beacons on the left, Pen Cerrig Calch on the right.


Abergavenny tucked away below the bracken on Blorenge's northeastern slope. Skirrid beyond.
