Computational Intelligence and Feature Selection:
Rough and Fuzzy Approaches

Picture of the bookComputational Intelligence and Feature Selection provides a high level audience with both the background and fundamental ideas behind feature selection with an emphasis on those techniques based on rough and fuzzy sets, including their hybridizations. It introduces set theory, fuzzy set theory, rough set theory, and fuzzy-rough set theory, and illustrates the power and efficacy of the feature selection described through the use of real-world applications and worked examples.

  1. Sir I need this book .is it available in India as a low price edition?Sir for last one year I am studying rough set, fuzzy rough set for doing something in this field for research .Sir I read your phd thesis named ” Combining rough and fuzzy set for feature selection”.I have written some program in matlab for my problem .Now I can’t fuzzify my real valued data that will help me to classify object.

I have a problem in online purchase.Life is going to nightmarish turn.Still I don’t have any paper . plz help me if possible by providing some chapters …plz sir

    • A lot of the content can be found in my older papers – have a look through these, particularly the “New approaches to FRFS” paper
