Research

My current research efforts concentrate on the application of data handling techniques in biology, specifically in metabolomics.

ArMet: an architecture for metabolomics is a major product of our work in Aberystwyth, specifically from the G02006 project. It has and is being applied in other projects (META-PHOR,HiMet, MeT-RO, G03R0002) and along with other work (including SMRS) is feeding into the Metabolomics Society standards initiative (MSI).

I am a member of the oversight committee of the MSI and co-chair of the Exchange Format Workgroup.
