Ahmed is currently is a full-time PhD student.

His current research goal is as follows:

The goal of the research will be to design, justify and evaluate a data mining process for metabolomics. The design is likely to be based on a review and evaluation of currently proposed process models (including CRISP-DM) and emerging work in the field (including M-DAP). Metabolomics will have specialized requirements and both CRISP-DM and general understanding suggest that data mining processes will differ between application areas. CRISP-DM includes the concept of mappings to reflect this. The justification is likely to involve metabolomics requirements analysis.
