This page contains a few template marking schemes. Most of them are simply to generate exam spreadsheets.
Exam Templates
To quickly generate a blank exam spreadsheet, load the best matching template below into the MFA tool and then load the class list (.csv file export from ASTRA or test with this list of fictious example students ) all from the Module tab. Also enter the module code and name. Go to the Assignment tab of the MFA tool and adjust number of questions, marks available etc, if necessary. Then go to the Spreadsheets tab and hit the create spreadsheet button. Alternatively you can go to the Results tab and type in the marks to MFA and then generate a populated spreadsheet. If you already have an assignment in MFA then simply add the exam as though it were a new assignment with questions instead of tasks, have a look a template first as a guide.
Fill in marks on the 'Picking' sheet in the workbook. The 'Marks' sheet will then contain the weighted totals. The 'Summary' sheet is also created for exam boards, and finally the 'Charts' sheet will show the histogram. The is also a short video. showing how to create an exam spreadsheet from scratch. This is for an earlier version of the MFA, but is still essentially the same for this task.

Notes on the spreadsheets
The .xlsx file contains several worksheets - fill in the marks on the 'picking' sheet and use the 'summary' sheet as the final module result. It includes the question marks for exams. The results page contains summary marks for each exam and assignment. Notice that MFA does not understand the rubric for exams, and therefore a 5 question paper where correctly answering 3 question yeilds 100% will show the total marks available for the exam as 166.65%.
To insert a mark that violates the rubric in the spreadsheet insert a backtick (') before the mark. On the results tab of MFA type the mark as a negative number. It will be indicated on the spreadsheets, but not included in the calculations. To remove a mark (as distinct from a genuine zero mark) type a number that is out of range for the question, click OK on the resulting warning dialog (this will be improved in some future version).
