This page collects together useful links to the different systems I often need to use at the University. Annotated so that I can remember what each is used for :) Some are only accessible on campus or over the VPN.

Blackboard	The Aberystwyth Virtual Learning Environment. Teaching materials, coursework submission (TurnItIn) and much (much) more... Also contains personal tutee information in module DEPT-N-UG:Computer Science Student Resources. See also Blackboard Required Minimum Presence information.
Primo	Library access, book loan renewals etc.
Aspire	System to enter module reading lists (thus causing books/ebooks to be ordered).
MEQ	Module evaluation questionaire system.
Helix media library	The Aberystwyth media hosting service.
CS Intranet	Computer science intranet home page.
CS Intranet	New Computer science intranet home page.
MMP website	Major Minor Project website. Final year Project suggestions and the selection information for students.

Timetable and schedules

ATO	University timetable system for all scheduled activity.
Amandas timetable overview	Departmental timetable showing all modules for a specified cohort year or session type with rooms.
WRB	The room booking system for all centrally timetabled rooms. 3 working days notice required. Can search for a specific room type or room availability etc.
Assignment submission dates	The current Computer Science Department assignment schedules for each cohort.

Attendance and personal tutees

Aladdin	Attendance and Personal Tutee (PT) information. This is where a record of PT meetings needs to be entered.
SAMS	Student Attendance Monitoring System - for modules class lists and manual update of attendance if swipe cards fail etc. Various reports can be accessed.
MOPS	Student attendance monitoring. This system can show when your personal tutees are not attending and being reported.
Student contact email lists	Information Services provide a number of email lists - generated nightly from Student System data on AStRA. For example your personal tutees cohorts each have a list.
Student record web access	Admin (staff) login to the web based access to student details and academic record.
AstRA	Aberystwyth Student Records and Admissions System. All student related information, cohorts, and administrative details (the student record link is easier for quick checks on basic student information).

Admin

URl	Purpose
Agresso	Staff record; holiday booking; absence notifications etc. Fill in "PAU" in the "Domain" box when logging in or it doesn't work. Use "your employment" then "absences" (the right hand side one NOT the left side one under start pages) to book holiday. Click the "open" button and then "load" button on the popup window to see the list of previously entered holidays (they don't appear otherwise and you see an empty list even if leave has been booked)
Aber People	Aber People information. Dates of term, useful forms (travel expenses claims, glasses, etc).
My Account	Manage your Aber account. Change IS password; Mailing lists; Filestore quota; Register a MAC address; printer credit; etc.
UAP	Forms and information for unacceptable academic practice cases.
VPN	Configuring a machine for the VPN
