The piccies on this page were taken in August 2001 during a holiday in Norway. Having previously been camping with a Westfield I figured using a Smart Car would be a doddle.
Bumble (the car) coped admirably with the terrain. In fact the 55mph speed limit rarely allowed 6th gear to be used at all. It appears that the Norwegians had never seen a smart before - I am pleased to say we brought a degree of amusement to this beautiful country.

If you look very carefully in the photo on the right you can see the road zig zagging its way up the mountain.
Doesn't look so bad the other way !
Camera doesnt do justice to the scale in this photo. The small block of ice on the ground in the center turned out to be twice my height !
