Full Day Workshop :: Current software frameworks in Cognitive Robotics integrating different computational paradigms

CALL FOR PAPERS (closed)

Authors are invited to submit papers presenting recent work on software frameworks able to combine high-level cognitive models and heterogeneous robot system in a direct and robust manner. The contribution must explicitly address at least one of the following topics:

  • existing software frameworks able to integrate different paradigms of computational intelligence for autonomous robot control

  • general software architectures explicitly dealing with the integration of robot hardware and cognitive models

  • frameworks for sustainable software design for heterogeneous robot platforms

  • software frameworks providing implementations of cognitive models grounded in specific computational paradigms, but which are proven to be open for different robot platforms, i.e. open for different sensor and actuator systems
Before considering to submit a paper, please read the sections on motivation and objectives of the WS.


GUIDELINES

We expect contributions to have between 3 and 8 pages in IROS 2008 formats using LaTeX only!


SUBMISSION AND DEADLINES

Please send your paper as pdf-file only to both organizers until June 25th 2008!
Notification of acceptence June 30th 2008.
Camera ready submission incl. all LaTeX sources July 6th 2008.
