To customise osCommerce i have made the prices of the existing items more reasonable from what they already were. I have also created a logo for my site.
The 2 items that i have added to the list are a CD ROM drive by firstcom, and The Sims 3 including 11 expansion packs.
Downloading and installing osCommerce was really easy, i only encountered a problem after the permissions were set using ‘fixwebperms‘ and i had to change the permissions in wordpress back to chmod 700 for .php files. overall i did this in around about 20mins.
Now time to customise my WordPress pages. I chose the iFeature theme, add it is one that grabbed my attention during the selection process. I like it because it has a professional layout and is very easy to manage its content. I added my social media sites, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. I then worked on the layout of my page, experiementing with different layouts of widgets to see if i could get a professional look i liked. I also added the Counterize plugin, this lets me gather data on how many people view my pages. As i enjoy listening to music i also added the Latest plays on Spotify plugin, this show what i have recently listened to on spotify

I didn’t really encounter any problems when installing WordPress. The only problem i encountered was getting the command line script right for accessing central which is a function i have not really used before.
