  • Anita Saycell (nee Vautier) selected for Age Group World Triathlon Championship in Madeira.

2003













  • Dai Roberts wins the Bebbington Trophy for Endeavour in the North Wales Cross Country League.

  • Dafydd Dylan Under 16 and Lizzy Goodband Under 18 win their respective trial races at Llanberis (Snowdon course).  Both selected and ran for Wales in the Home Countries Junior Mountain Running International at Dreghorn, Edinburgh, Scotland. Dafydd came away with a silver team medal for the Under 16 Boys section.

  • Dafydd Dylan wins the Under 17 Men's title and Nicky Blake wins the Under 20 Men's title at the West Wales Cross-Country Championships at Penbrey, Llanelli.

2002

 

  • John Evans became the Welsh V55 Half Marathon Road Race Champion in the Craig yr Aderyn Half Marathon in Towyn.

  • Dafydd Dylan gains his first vest for the Welsh Junior Fell Running Team and runs for Wales in the International Teenager Games in the Black Forest region of Germany.

  • Ffion Morgan wins the Welsh Fell Trial for Junior Ladies at the Ras y Garn, Rhyd Ddu, was selected and ran for Wales in the World Mountain Running Trophy in Innsbruck, Austria.

  • Dafydd Dylan and Sean Ryan win their Trial for the Junior Home Countries Fell Running International held on Moel Eilio, Llanberis. Dafydd, Sean and Luke Hansen selected and ran for the Welsh team in the Home Countries Junior Fell Running Championships, on Moel Eilio, N.Wales.

  • Ffion Morgan wins a third consecutive West Wales Cross-Country Championship at Singleton Park, Swansea in the Under 20 Womens section.

  • Catrin Vaughan wins the U13G Athletic Association Wales indoor pentathlon and the indoor shot and took bronze in the 60 hurdles and the 800 m.

 

2001
  • Ffion Morgan wins the Under 20 Women's Welsh Inter-Regional Cross-Country Championships in Colwyn Bay. Gold medals to team winners in this event (U20 Women); Ffion Morgan, Lona Jones, Jenni Ashton and Nerys Powell: (U17 Women); Rhyann Sutton and Claire Foale: (U15Boys);  Dafydd Dylan and Llyr Raw-Rees: and (U13Boys); Sean Ryan. West Wales win the male, female and overall title.

  • Ffion Morgan gains her first full Welsh International Cross-Country vest, outside the school system, for the Welsh Under 20 Women's team in the annual Celtic International race.

  • The combined Under 17/20 Women's team of Ffion Morgan, Jeni Ashton, Catrin Morgan and Claire Foale win the silver medal at the Welsh Cross-Country Championships in Cardiff.

  • Steffan Raw-Rees 3rd in the Gwent League Cross-Country Under 11 Boys section.

  • Ffion Morgan selected and ran for Wales in an European international cross-country race (Cique Milunie), near to Milan, Italy, finishing 23rd and 2nd Welsh girl home from the four strong Welsh team and 60 finishers. Gained her second consecutive title as West Wales Cross Country Champion in the Under 20 Ladies age group and ran for the Welsh Junior Ladies Team in the British Fell Championships in Belfast, N. Ireland.

  • Mari Fenton became the West Wales U13 Track and Field Long Jump Champion at Neath.

 

2000
  • The Aberystwyth Athletic Club Under 17 Women Cross-Country team (Ffion Morgan, Jenni Ashton, Nerys Powell and Lona Jones) become the Welsh Under 17 Champions.

  • Mari Fenton wins the Under 11 Girls Gwent Cross-Country League title.

  • The club’s Under 11 Girls Cross-Country team (Mari Fenton, Lisa Evans, Sioned Williams, Leah Jones and Catrin Vaughan), come 3rd in the Gwent League.

  • Ffion Morgan ran for the Welsh Schools team together with Jenni Ashton and Nerys Powell for the AAW team, in a match against a West Midlands and South West England teams.

  • Ffion Morgan ran for the Welsh Schools Cross-Country team in the Home Countries International at Irvine Scotland. Ran for the Welsh Fell Running Team, Junior Ladies in the British International Fell Running Championships at Knockdhu, Northern Ireland and also represented the Welsh Schools Fell Running team, in the British Schools Fell Running Championships in Sedburg, Cumbria.

  • Ffion Morgan wins the Under 20 Women West Wales Regional Cross-Counrty Championships, Penbrey, Llanelli.

  • Regional (county) vests gained by Jenni Ashton, Lona Jones, Nerys Powell,

    Dafydd Dylan wins the Junior 1mile race in the Aberystwyth Marie Curie 10k Road Race.

    Rhyann Sutton, Claire Foale, Fay Hansen, Sean Ryan, Dafydd Dylan, Llyr Raw-Rees, (Senior -  Danny Thorogood, Vets – Dai Roberts and Peter Foale).

  • Mari Fenton won the silver medal in the U13Girls Long Jump at the Welsh Track & Field Championships in Cwmbran.

  • Steffan Raw-Rees finished 2nd in the Under 11 Boys and Catrin Vaughan 3rd in the Under 11 Girls championships of the Shropshire Young Athletes Cross-Country League.

 

1999
  • Huw Rhys ap Dafydd wins the Montgomeryshire Cross-Country League by winning all his races in the Under 11 section. Luke Hansen wins the Under 15 section.

  • Huw Rhys ap Dafydd wins the Under 13 Long Jump title at the West Wales Regional Track & Field Championships.

  • Llyr Raw-Rees wins the overall three race Junior Rhayader 1 Mile Evening Road Races.

  • West Wales Regional Cross-Country vests awarded to:- Sean Ryan, Huw Rhys ap Dafydd, Catrin Morgan, Gina Phillips, Shari James, Lisa Fenton, Ffion Morgan, Lona Jones, Nerys Powell, Jenni Ashton, Luke Hansen.

  • Ffion Morgan and Jenni Ashton win gold medals as scoring members of the winning West Wales team in the Championship.

 

1998
  • Shropshire Young Athletes Cross-Country League, Ffion Morgan Under 15 Girls Champion, Under 15 Girls Team, runners up and Under 11 Boys Team, 3rd.

  • Ffion Morgan Under 15 Girl Champion, Dyfed Cross-Country Championship.

  • Dyfed vests for Ffion Morgan, Catrin Morgan and Luke Berridge.

  • Catrin Morgan champion at 100mtrs and 200mtrs Sprints and High Jump at the Dyfed Schools Championships. Subsequently, won gold in the Dyfed Sprint Relay Team at the Schools Nationals.

  • West Wales Regional Cross-Country vests awarded to:- Jenni Ashton, Lisa Jenkins, Lona Jones, Nerys Powell, Nerys Daniel, Claire Foale and Luke Hansen.

  • Jenni Ashton and Luke Hansen won gold medals as being members of the winning regional teams.

 

1997
  • Shropshire Young Athletes Cross-Country League, U15Girls Team 3rd and Ffion Morgan 3rd, Individual.

  • Ffion Morgan gains her second Welsh Schools Cross-Country vest and is also selected as the Welsh U14 Girls Team Captain. (vs. England, Ireland and Scotland held in Chepstow).

 

1996
  • Gwent Cross-Country League, Aberystwyth A.C., Under 13 Girls Team Champions. Ffion Morgan, Under 13 Girls Champion. Lucy Thomas, Under 11 Girls runner up.
  • South Wales Valleys Cross-Country League, Aberystwyth A.C., Under 11 and Under 13 Girls Team Champions. Lucy Thomas, Under 11 Girls Champion. Aberystwyth A.C., Under 11 and Under 13 Boys Team runners up. 

  • Ffion Morgan gains her first Welsh Schools Cross-Country vest in the U14 age group. Represented Wales in a match against England, Ireland and Scotland held in Irvine, Scotland.

  • Louise Arthur Trophy Track and Field, Second Division, Aberystwyth A.C., Girls Team and Boys Team Champions (all ages) and Second Division Champions. Promotion to First Division.

  • Golden Wonder Trophy Track and Field, Second Division, Aberystwyth A.C. Team runners up.

1995
  • South Wales Valleys Cross-Country League, Claire Evans, Under 13 Girls  Champion and Aberystwyth A.C., Under 11 and Under 13 Girls, plus Under 11 Boys Team runners up.
