Symposium Aims

The 'Immune System and Cognition' symposium aims to provide a useful connection between Artificial Immune Systems (AIS), an emerging research area, and principles of cognition.

The symposium is designed to have an informal atmosphere to promote discussion about the papers that are presented. The emphasis is not on presenting new work, although such work is of course welcome, but on assessing existing work and promoting new directions, such as the connection between AIS and cognition.

In addition, world-leading researchers in the field will present invited lectures, and a number of general and specialist tutorials will be run for those who are new to the field of AIS.
