Royals boss Brian McDermott has given an update now that the loan window has reopened.

League clubs can now undertake emergency loans, and Brian will look for an opportunity if it is the right move - but he also has great faith in a Reading squad that has won eight games in the last eleven matches.

Asked about loans coming in soon he said, "Anything in the next week or so? No I don't think so, but we don't rule out anything as far as loans are concerned."

He continued, "We've spoken an awful lot in January about new players, we also need to talk about the players that are here, that's really important.

"You can get carried away talking about other players, I like to talk about the ones who have got us eight wins in eleven games, we're top of the League when you take away the first six games."

One rumour this week saw Reading linked with Manchester City's Owen Hargreaves, but Brian dismissed such talk, saying, "It's just a rumour, not true. I don't know how many games he's played in the last few years, he was terrific when he first came over here but like I say it's not true."

Last but not least, Brian said he has been in regular contact with Anton Zingarevich, commenting, "I texted him a couple of days ago, just to say the lads have trained really well and the new boys have settled in well. He said great, keep it going."

This site is made for my CS22310 assignment (User Centred Design and Human Computer Interaction) as I currently study at Aberystwyth University. This section's content will change on completion of the module to have purely Reading based content.

I decided to develop this website conforming to the standards set out by Steve Krug in his book 'Don't make me think'.

I wanted to create a website that I enjoyed, and would actually use after this module has finished - considering I am part of Royals Rendezvous a Reading FC fans forum I wanted to create this site as an extension to what it currently has.

The information contained on this website is accurate as of 11th February 2012 - and may be added to over time.

This site has been created using Dreamweaver and the information gained from several sources:
