How has evolution affected the structure of the horse's head? Why did
these changes occur?

Describe the principal structures of the stay apparatus of the horse,
giving the main function of each structure listed.

Write short notes on THREE of the following:
- a) the thoracic vertebrae in the horse;
- b) the ligaments of the stifle joint in the horse;
- c) the epiphysis;
- d) dentition and age determination in the horse.
