After setting up the osCommerce site it was then time to customise it, as well as making it sure that it is only a demo shop, and as such would not be retailing any items.
The customisation options that you can use from the sites admin area are very limited. The reason for this is that you can only really change things like the name of the shop, the items for sale, and the logo, I believe that the reason for this is because these items are all linked towards the business end of the site, where as you have to directly edit the base files in their root directories to make any changes to the sites presentation, for this reason I have not heavily customized the site, and have merely changed a few items and the title of the site, thus making it clear that this is a fake store.
