New York, New York

.... so good, I just had to go there!! So I did. I flew on 2nd December, 2000 from Heathrow, London, and had 4 fantastic days in the Christmas atmosphere of New York. Then flew back to wet United Kingdom.

I have just had the photos back - just click on the following 2 links.

Hopefully, I will get the chance to go again. And if you're wondering when to go, let me try to be of help. I've been told that it is nice in the summer - very hot in fact. And Yes, I suppose it would be nicer going out on the ferries in T-shirt and shorts, rather than a winter jacket, gloves, hat, etc., but then I think, no Rockerfeller Xmas Tree; no Xmas decorations in the big stores such as Bloomingdales, Macys and Saks; no Radio City Christmas Show.

If I go back again, I'm going to go in December. By the way, the Radio City Xmas show is fantastic. To find out more, go to www.radiocity.com. There's even a virtual tour available which brings back some very nice memories.
