Here is some information on past members of AberFSF:
A third year Computer Science student, I'm currently in Germany, working on the industrial year of my course.
As Entertainments Officer, I introduced people to things they may not have heard of, both old and random, that they would like them too.
I like fictions with the pretty language, such as Deadwood and Studio 60 and also the high concepts, such as Babylon 5 and the new Battlestar Galactica. I return in 2010.
I was a Single Hons Information Studies UG - looking towards a career in the cataloguing/records management field. I had previously attended East Antrim Institute (now Northern Regional College) for three years.
My main area of interest is effects pieces (Star Wars, Indy Jones, The Matrix - you know the sort). As for television, my loyalities lie with the sci-fi comedy with some pastiche thrown in (Futurama, Red Dwarf etc.). As President, I intended to make the society a success again after a shaky patch in 2006-2007.
Kalendarist of the Doctor Who Appreciation Society in 1973-1974, Graham is now a solicitor in Kent. He sent us scans of the Guild of Students Handbook from that same year, which included information on that incarnation of the society; front cover (662KB PDF) and the 127th page (911KB PDF).
