CHILDES (Child Language Data Exchange System) offers various resources which aid and support
studying language acquisition, language development, and language learning:

video-recordings of spoken language
- computer programs which aid the work of transcription and analysis
- a location in the public domain for storing electronic versions of language databases
- resources for downloading electronic databases, including this one
- an e-mail list which supplies a forum for researchers
